divine preparation
yesterday i was reading yet another book on evolution, this time about how so much of its influence has already penetrated into our daily lives. basically, what i was reading was about how science was used to push the evoultionistic theory forward (suppressing creationism at the same time). some of these methods include the often mention of long periods of time ('millions of years') in conjunction with science. these can also be accomplished through the public education system, which is highly evolutionistic (in the US context) as well as promoting the concept of millions of years at tourist attractions such as the grand canyon. ("formed by large flash floods over many millions of years"), etc etc. anyway, i didn't expect to see an immediate influence of this newfound information, but i did. today.
at the science centre, between the omnimax theatre and the main building, there is a long passageway separating the 2 buildings. within this area, there were a large number of information signs and whatnot showing the alleged development of life since many many many years ago. these signs were designed, with the primary purpose of promoting the theory of evolution.
this theory of evolution is one of many methods used by satan to undermine the authority of God and his omnipotence.
yet another reason to believe that Christ could come in our generation
"12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. "
