interviewing james

cross country. beat previous time by 1 min 38 sec. while going back, bus broke down and we waited at the side of the road for awhile for the next bus to come. such poor service. tsk tsk.
after returning to class (albeit 10 min late) we found james there. after recess, lesson ob. during phys sc. predictably, the class was absoulutely silent

philip(P): why didnt u come for cross country yesterday
james(J): i was late for cross country
J: so i went to school
J: but i was also late for school
J: and i got booked for being late
P: what was it like being the only one from our class at assembly?
J: it was, uh, quite spacious
